Another CBEMian Achiever

Ivan Reth V. Macabeo, an Accountancy studnt from BU-CBEM made it as the topnotcher of the CPA Board Exam last October 2009 getting the score around 91.2%.

What I know about this person is that he is serious when it comes to studies and life. When we were in high school, his simplicity has shown wisdom, hard work, humility and leadership. Ivan is a silent type person but his mind is full of knowledge that you can't imagine that this person has. I remember 
when I was in high school 

(we were both from St. Benedict's Academy), he was been my life saver from the terrible nervous that I had when I was at the church being the commentator of the mass. Ivan is also a God-fearing person and a man of faith. He was our President at the Legion of Mary- Cause of our Joy Chapter (SBA).

Going to college,he was known as the highest ranking student of his time though he was the second placer in the Bicol University College Entrance Exam. His leadership strength was continued in the tertary level being the President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) BU Chapter.

And now soaring higher beyond limits like the phoenix of the JPIAN's Ivan is now one of the highest prides of BU particularly of CBEM.

What did Ivan do to make it to the top? Well, during the Capping and Pinning Ceremony of my cousin from BUCN, President told that the department head whispered to Ivan the words "you're gonna be Number 1!" since he was in first year. But this of course is not enough to him be the number one but what reaaly made him is his humility, wisdom and perseverance.  

This is a proof that BU-CBEM is a quality based training  ground for future business professionals.
